You are not just a number at VES. Enjoy individual instruction and building relationships in small groups. Class sizes typically range from 5 to 25 students.
15-Week Semester Courses
Our primary mode of course offerings will be the traditional 15-week semester course that meets once per week for 15 weeks. A typical fall and spring semester will consist of four courses that meet once during the week (no classes on Friday). Class sessions will meet from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
1-Week Intensive Module Courses
During the winter and summer breaks (January and June), short one-week intensive module courses may be offered. Each module course will meet each week night from 6pm to 10:30pm Monday through Friday evening, and from 9:30am to 5:30pm on Saturday. After the one-week in-class portion is complete, students will have 14 additional weeks to complete all assigned coursework and take their exam(s). In addition, a module course may be offered each semester during “Reading Week” (i.e. one week break from semester course meetings) in which all students may enroll.
All VES graduate degree programs may be completed through our external studies program, with no residency requirement. You have a choice to fulfill your external courses through our POPULI online site that contains all your course materials, pre-recorded video lectures, and syllabus, from any location where internet access is available.
